What is Fit Faster Bootcamp?

 

Fit Faster workouts utilise our refined group personal training system, so you get individualised coaching to cater to your abilities and fitness level.

 

Fit Faster isn’t about competition, body image or comparison. At Fit Faster it’s all about friendship and community, healthy bodies AND healthy minds. We inspire and support each other.

 

You will never be left behind or forced to keep up, and we won’t yell at you! We are NOT a Military Style Bootcamp.

 

Plus, we run transformation and fitness challenges and social events throughout the year to keep you motivated, meeting people and having fun.

 

Over the last 5+ years we’ve helped thousands of Scarborough (and its surrounding) residents lose fat and feel fabulous while getting ready for weddings and parties, running transformation & fitness challenges, summer slim-downs as well as training for triathlons, fun runs, obstacle races and all sorts of sports. It’s time to take action and train smarter!

 

What do the workouts consist of?

The workouts run predominantly in a circuit style for 45 mins with a combination of functional strength, core and cardio exercises. 

 

We use all types of different equipment such as slam balls, kettlebells, bands, TRX suspension trainers, balance boards, medicine balls, sand bags, agility ladders, ViPR’s and whatever the latest functional training equipment allows us to.

Since young age I was always been involved in a broad range of sports disciplines, Rugby, Football, Tennis, Basketball, Rowing, and more but my strongest background was built within field hockey. I have played at professional level in some of the top leagues all over the world and coached successful teams as well.

In the last years of my career developed a strong passion and thus got educated in conscious living and sustainable practices, with focus on nutrition.

I was a PT since a young age but also a HP Athlete therefore my vision was always to merge the best of both forms of training to create a superior one, a more complete, holistic training that combines the strength and practicality of functional training with the endurance and resilience of team sports”,

Under these foundations, Holistic Athletes was forged.

In addition to developing great workout, I also help a lot of people understand how their nutrition and lifestyle decisions impact on their health and fitness. I started my fitness journey after struggling immensely with body image issues all throughout my school life. When I found exercise and fitness, I discovered that health was more than just a weight on a scale or how you look at yourself in the mirror and was all about how you felt on the inside. I believe a healthy individual has balance of all joys within their life including some treats every now and then.

I specialise working with people who have or are currently struggling with their weight management and who want to have a healthier outlook on their relationship with food and their body.

My workouts mainly consist of fast paced movement that utilises many muscle groups in order to effectively reduce fat and gain muscle consistently throughout the body.

If you are looking for a trainer who is ready to make you sweat those worries away then I am your girl.

I’m from Aix-EnProvence a small city situated in the South of France, there’s where I began to develop a passion for Calisthenics.

The word calisthenics comes from the ancient Greek words Kalós, which means “beautiful”, and Sthenos, meaning “strength” (great mental strength, courage, physical strength, and determination). Calisthenics is a discipline that requires little to no equipment and that uses one’s body weight. In Calisthenics, I train individuals and groups to perform skills such as Muscle-ups, Handstands, Back Lever, Front Lever, Elbow Lever… and I also train the bodyweight conditioning to be able to achieve those, step by step.

Seeing people improving their physical state, achieving their goals and by results making them more confident and happier in their lives, always reminds me why I choose to become a Personal trainer.

I believe that anything is achievable with a good amount of determination and resilience.

Also, that it is not the destination but the journey that changes us!
