What’s been happening at FFP bootcamp
The weather hasn’t been that kind to us lately, but that doesn’t mean bootcamp stops. We run sessions all year round regardless of rain, hail or shine! So there’s no excuse for you to miss a session….. no excuse!
Even Ralphie wasn't impressed with the weather, but he still turned up!
This week I’m in Melbourne catching up with family, seeing my son who is studying at Uni as it’s been 7 months since I saw him. So I’m a happy mumma bear about that!
That being said, I have left Joel to look after all of you and I’m sure he will run you through your paces (Woop Woop) and make it lots of fun as well.
So make sure you get to training and hang out with Joel.

We are now in week 4 of the 28 Day Transformation and I can already see the changes. You should be feeling fitter and healthier by now and hopefully the small changes you’ve made along the way are now part of your new lifestyle.
So keep it up and finish off the challenge with a bang!
Weigh ins and measurements will done at the 6pm session on Monday and all sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesday.
Client of the month
This bootcamper has turned his health, diet and fitness upside down! He has made huge changes to his lifestyle and is definitely reaping the rewards.
In the last challenge he has dropped a whopping 4.7% body fat and 8 cms from his waist and 4.5 kgs!
That's a massive achievement and I am so proud of you Richard McAliister, all your hard work has really paid off.
A FFP t’shirt is coming your way. Please give a high five to Richard next time you see him.
Temporary change of location
Due to works being done down at Butler’s Reserve and now the Scarborough Scout Hall, ALL sessions will be at Woodlands Primary School during the school holidays.
We may be having cold and wet weather but that hasn’t stopped the cardio crew attending the Saturday sessions.
This week it was held in the carpark in Scarborough. We had sprints, skipping, pushups, agility ladders and more. It was loads of fun!
Joel will be taking this Saturday’s session. Meet at 8am sharp near the playground behind ‘The Kiosk’ off Brighton Rd, Scarborough. It’s $15 pp and runs for 45 mins. BYO h20 and get your running shoes on!
The Yummy Mummy bootcamp is certainly up and running. It’s so lovely to see mums getting to training with toddlers and babies in tow.
It’s ‘time out’ for them, where they get to workout, chat and focus on themselves for 45 mins. And I get to be surrounded by babies (Yipppeeee).
Our YM bootcamps sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am. Intro offer is $99 for the 1st month. Book online via Mindbody or email ingrid.fitfaster.com.au.

Yoga is back on!
Iron Yoga was a huge success! It was great to see people try something different and add an extra workout to their weekly program.
The benefits of doing yoga are endless. It helps you improve flexibility, builds muscle and core strength, improves your posture, increases blood flow, helps improve your health, it gets your heart rate up, burns calories and helps drop your blood pressure, improves your balance and this is just to name a few!
Iron Yoga will commence on Tuesday 10th October and will run for 4 weeks at Woodlands Primary School. It’s $60 for the 4 sessions and they run for 50 mins. If you are interested in joining in, you can book online via MindBody or just send me an email to secure your spot.
Recipe of the week
Cinnamon Apple Energy bites
Healthy, gluten free, vegan, energy bites that taste just like apple pie!
Ingredients - makes approx 20
1 cup dried apples
1/2 cup medjool dates (pits removed)
1/2 cup unsalted dry roasted almonds
1/2 cup oats
1 tablespoon of maple syrup or honey
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon of allspice
2 tablespoons of water.. added more if needed.
soak dates in hot water for 10mins
Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend until the mixture turns into a paste or dough like consistency.
Scoop out heaping teaspoons of the mixture and roll into balls
Store the energy bites in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
** I also like to add 1/2 scoop of protein powder - optional
Nutrition per bite ; 52 calories, 2.2 g fat, 7.4g carbs, 1.2g fibre, 3.8g sugar, 1.3g protein
