Hi Team! 

Last week I was in Melbourne catching up with family, which was just lovely, especially seeing my boy. But geez he's grown! Yep that's a photo of me with Dylan and I'm wearing high heels! 

 

Melbourne is such a great place to hang out, great coffee, amazing food (no $25 smashed avo breakfasts there!) and then sometimes you come across random things just by walking the streets of the city, check out the pic below!  But there's still nothing better than coming home to Perth and being greeted with sunshine and blue skies. 


I was thrilled to hear that Joel kept you all working out hard at training (with workouts and his sense of humour) and that you all had lot's of fun! 

He thoroughly enjoyed it and he did a fantastic job. Thanks Joel! 

You may have notice our new yellow flags at bootcamp lately, I think they are awesome!! It's a great way for our newbies to find us when we are training outdoors or down the foreshore. 

So if you are a little lost, just look out for a new flags. 

School holiday fun!

We have had some great sessions over the school holidays. I LOVE it when the kids come along with their parents, hang out, train, run around and just have a blast in general, it sets a great example for your kids. Friday was a fun full house! 

So there's no excuse to not come along to training...bring the whole family!


Beep Test was done and dusted!

Last week upon my return I set out the challenge of the beep test. Some of you haven't done it since high school and some have never done it before. 

The beep test is a multi-stage fitness test, it's a series of stages (20 meters distance) to estimate an athlete's VO2 max (maximum oxygen uptake). It's a great way to measure your cardio fitness and we will be doing it again in 4 weeks time. So don't miss it!


We had some fantastic results all round with Matt Pike taking the leaders board with a score of 11.1, Ben G with a score of 10, Carlee and Ebony with a score of 7.4

Whatever your score was, it was a great result, you should be proud with your achievement.

Are you Summer ready? 

It may not feel like it but it's just around the corner! Set yourself some goals, write them down, clean out your pantry, make meal plans and commit to your training at bootcamp. It's time to get fit and healthy for summer!

It may just be adding an extra exercise to your routine or if you aren't currently exercising at all, try starting with 30 mins of walking daily. Over time this will become part of YOUR lifestyle and it won't feel like such a chore.

I'd love to help you with your goal for summer, so speak to me and if there's anything you need from me, i.e. meal plans, recipes, home workouts, motivation etc, just ask!

My goal this summer is to find more time to do yoga, try out surfing for the first time..yikes..sharks .... and to learn more about nutrition.  


Transformation Winner is.....

We had some great results this time round, but there was one person that was really determined after coming back from an overseas holiday. She made changes to her diet, gave it her all at training and it's certainly paid off! 

Our winner is Mandy! 

In 4 weeks she has lost 3 kilos, 9cm from her waist and 2cm from her hips and is feeling amazing. Congratulations Mandy!!

Please give a high five to Mandy when you see her next at bootcamp. 


9.30am sessions are NOW at Deanmore Reserve, corner of Harvest and Bazaar Tce, Scarborough. 

We will be here for at least the next 4 weeks until Butlers Reserve have completed the irrigation works. 

Iron Yoga

Starts Tuesday 10th at 6pm at Woodlands Primary school. I will be running this yoga session every Tuesday for the next 4 weeks. No experience necessary, it's open to all ages and fitness levels, byo mat, towel and h20. It's $15 per session and no need to book, just turn up and get stretchy! 


Orders for protein powder & FFP leggings

I will be ordering more protein powder and FFP leggings next week, if you would like some, please let me know. 

Cardio

Is always on every Saturday at 8am. Meet at the playground behind 'The Kiosk' on Brighton Rd, Scarborough. It's $15 per person, no experience necessary, open to all ages and all fitness levels.
