Hey team.

I hope you all had a magnificent long weekend chilling out and maybe even getting a few sleep ins and are ready to tackle week 4 of the Transformation Challenge!

In the coming week we will be redoing a few challenges to see how much you’ve improved. So make sure you get to bootcamp so you don’t miss out.

Client of the Month

We’re pretty pumped about the progress this guy has made over the last few months and he’s really transformed his lifestyle.

He started with one of our challenges and continued on and is now training hard for an upcoming ski trip.

So a huge congrats goes out to Damian for his continued efforts and amazing progress!

Great job Damian and we’ll have a Fit Faster shirt for you real soon.

Are you needing a new challenge for the next six months?

Well, Perth has a few triathlons, runs and obstacle challenges coming up. Check out the links below and see if you are ready to sign up for one.

If you decide to take one of them up, let me know and we can discuss your training program leading up to any of these events.

There are also quite a few family events, so get your kids involved too!

The Perth City to Surf is only a few months away and whether you’re already a runner or just starting out, it’s always great to have a running program to guide you.

I used the Jeff Galloway program a few years back for a half marathon I did in Muscat, Oman. I started as a beginner runner and my goal was to just finish the run without gaining an injury in the process.

Jeff Galloway’s program helps you keep on track, teaches you how to train whilst preventing an injury and gives you heaps of tips on how to get the best out of your training.

So whether it’s a 2km, 4km, 12km, 1/2 marathon or full marathon you’ve decide to do, make sure you check out the link below.

If you have any questions at all regarding the training and/or your nutrition for training, please ask.

We love gadgets!! There are so many fitness gadgets out on the market now, but which one would suit you best?

These gadgets may be able to help you make the best of your workout sessions, track your health progress and have fun at the same time.

Research exactly what you want your gadget to do and then read reviews thoroughly.

I’ve pretty much tried them all from Fitbits, Polar, Tomtom and Garmin and last week I purchased the new Apple Watch Series 2 and wowza I love it and not just because it comes in pink!

The difference with an Apple Watch is that there is no heart rate strap required (yeah!) as the sensor is in the watch itself.

So far over the long weekend I’ve tracked my calories, steps, exercise, distance, heart rate, breathing and sleep.

The watch has a haptic sensor (a dull vibration) that alerts you when to move if you’ve been idle for too long.

The benefit is – It will keep you on your feet! Basically urging you to get off your A$!

It links into MyFitnessPal and adds your daily steps to your diary and calculates the calories too. The GPS is probably the best I’ve used so far, it even adds your route to Maps.

Whatever gadget you choose, they are a great way to help you stay on track, improve your training and just get you moving.

If you have any questions on these fitness gadgets, just ask. I’m more than happy to help you find the right on for you.

That’s it from me this week, keep up the great work and see you at bootcamp!
